About Me

I'm an artist, animator, and 3D Generalist. This is a collection of the work I've done professionally, independently, and from when I was in school.

Animations

The MiniGunner

This is the polished, finished version of that MiniGunner animation that I posted previously. The characters are rigs that I've downloaded from various sites, but I did all of the animation, modeling, texturing, and lighting.

Untitled (WORK IN PROGRESS)

I've always wanted to animate a sci-fi gun battle, so this is my first crack at it. This is obviously still a work in progress, but I should have everything tightened up, completed and a fully rendered in no time. The characters are rigs I've downloaded from various sites, but I modeled all of the background and environmental elements.

Mirror Friends

This is an animation test that I did. Just wanted to show that I can animate quadrupeds too.

Last Words (WORK IN PROGRESS)

This is a dialogue project that I'm working on. The audio is taken from the movie "The Book of Eli." I really want to stress that this is a work in progress. I plan on doing some more animation passes to clean up some of the movements and the lip-sync, as well as finish up the background elements and get it all rendered out.

Trapzilla vs. Low Ph

In this animation, I was responsible for the character animation of the main city worker, the chef, and the background characters in the restaurant.

Wise King

This is a dialogue/lip-sync project that I decided to do on my own time while at SCAD. The character rig was given to me by a friend, which he found somewhere online. I did all of the character animation, modeled and textured the environment and the character's clothes and I did the lighting. The audio clip is taken from the movie "Thor."

Bar Room Blunders

This is my senior film. It is still a work in progress. I need to go back in for additonal pass of animation and an additional pass for lighting. This is what I have so far! Comments and suggestions are welcome and encouraged! Thanks

Android Crossing

This is my final project for VSFX-101. We had to composite a 3D prop into a live action scene, but I went over and beyond and rigged/animated the "prop."

2010 Generate Competition Final

This is the final product of a group project done for the 24 hour Generate Competition at SCAD -Atlanta. We were instructed to use the character provided and create a 15 second opening sequence for the client's demo reel. During the course of the 24 hours that we had to complete this project, we were given deadlines and check points for certain tasks, similar to the sort of deadlines that professionals have to meet when working with a client. It was a very fun experience working with my 3 other group members to get this done. But more importantly, it was a very valuable learning experience. I learned how to work well with a group by bouncing ideas off others and dividing up tasks to get things done faster, and more efficiently. Also, I learned the basic structure of how work flow will be in the professional world when doing work for a client.
