About Me

I'm an artist, animator, and 3D Generalist. This is a collection of the work I've done professionally, independently, and from when I was in school.

2D & Hybrid Work

 CTP Commerical Spot
This piece required a deer and a specific looking river out in the woods. The deer is a fully functional CG element that I modeled rigged and animated. In addition, I created the stream which is CG as well. It includes the water, bridge, trees, plants and other foreground and mid-ground elements.

Character Designs

These are some characters that I designed for a class (Stylizing characters in 3D). In the class we were instructed to choose a celebrity and make a variety of characters based on that person's appearance in the style of a specific artist or company. The final character however did not have to be a celebrity, but it still needed to be illustrated in a specific style.

Rodney
Rodney the Rhinodile is a mix of rhinosaurus and crocodile. His style is based on the character designs for the "Donkey Kong" series of video games. The 3D model can be found under the "Modeling | Texturing | Lighting" tab.
Penington
Penington is a used car salesman based on the appearance of Sean Connery, and in the style of an artist by the name of Fran Ferriz. The 3D model can be found under the "Modeling | Texturing | Lighting" tab.
Shawn Shroom
Shawn Shroom is a mushroom based on the appearance of Sean Connery, in the style of Pictoplasma.

Senior Film
These are the initial character and environmental ideas for my Senior Film.

Zbrush Character Concept

This is the concept art for a character that I modeled. To sum up, he is an African Warrior/Hunter, but he is very awkward and bad at it. Notice his unsure expression and the awkward way that he is holding his blade. Also, he has the bow slung across his body backwards, and the fact that he has two blades AND a bow and arrows shows that he doesn't really know what he's doing.

Color Still-Life

This is a still life project that I did using chalk pastels.

Green Still-Life

This still life was done on green paper using black and white charcoal

Cloth Study

Cloth study done on blue paper with black and white charcoal.

Camouflage Project

For this project, I picked out a cloth pattern, and then grabbed three objects (spatula, spoon, and knife). I glued the objects onto the pattern and then duplicated the pattern on the utensils. I tediously matched the colors of the pattern with acrylic paint so that from afar, they would seemingly disappear into the background.
